Krytox™ XHT (extreme high-temperature) lubricants are targeted for use in very high-temperature ranges. Using base oils, thickeners, and additives with chemistry they are designed to create high and low viscosities.

While most petroleum products begin to degrade before 99 °C and cease turning at temperatures just below –18 °C, Krytox XHT fluorinated synthetic lubricants have operating ranges that are significantly broader –70 °C to 316 °C .

Krytox™ XHT greases and oils can also perform in temperature spikes up to 400 °C, when used in proper metallurgy with periodic relubrication.

Different viscosities for extreme temperatures:

XHT Oils- special extreme high temperature grade oils with low evaporation
